We’ve been working with Whybin/TBWA and Mercury Energy for some time to bring together a lovely little idea that they had for their Good Energy series. You’ve should have all seen the TVC featuring Tiki Tane, the Starship hospital and Kiwi Good Samaritans videos. Now we are proud to introduce a world first; The Good Energy Taxi will be giving folks rides that are paid for by the good energy of other passengers and supporters online. All the cab’s battery needs to get a boost and keep the taxi rolling is good energy.

With the good energy meter displayed on an iPad inside the taxi everyone’s good comments, pleases and thank you’s, not to mention tweets and Facebook posts all helps build the energy battery and provide the taxi for free. What a lovely idea!

Using one of our full wraps the Green Cab taxi, used for its perfect synergy to the campaign, is transformed from a vibrant green to a bold yellow. It’s a somewhat special taxi being the only one in the country. So make sure you get involved when you see it.

So, if you’re out and about over the next 2 weeks you can try and hail it down for a free ride. But you’d better be quick because we all know a free taxi is a dream come true.
